Cavokator — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Manuito ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Cavokator mobile application and related services (the "App"). We have designed Cavokator to collect as little personal data as possible.

      In short: Cavokator does not require an account, a name, or an email to
      work. We do not sell your data. The main data flows come from the advertising and Firebase
      services we rely on, and from the aviation data providers you query — all described below.
    

1. Information we collect

No directly identifying information. You can use the App without providing your name, email address, or any account credentials.
Anonymous identifier. We use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous, randomly generated user ID. It lets us store your settings and your purchase entitlements, and is not linked to your real-world identity.
Device and diagnostic data. Like most apps, we and our service providers may process technical data such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and basic usage and error information to operate and improve the App.
Advertising identifiers. When ads are shown, the advertising SDK processes an advertising identifier and related device data (see section 3).
Location (optional). If you grant permission, your device location is used on your device to centre maps on your position and show nearby information. We do not store your location or send it to our own servers.

2. Aviation data you request

When you look up weather (METAR, TAF, SIGMET), NOTAMs, or related information, the airport codes and parameters you enter are sent to third-party aviation data providers in order to retrieve the requested reports. We do not attach your identity to these requests.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

The free version of the App displays advertising through Google AdMob. Google may collect and process an advertising identifier, device information, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. On supported platforms you can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings, and you can remove advertising entirely by purchasing the "Remove ads" option or a NOTAM Pro subscription.

4. Firebase and Google services

We use Google Firebase for anonymous authentication, Remote Config (feature settings), and validation of in-app purchases and subscriptions. Data processed by these services is governed by Firebase's privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment-card details. We receive a purchase receipt, which we validate to unlock the corresponding features for your anonymous user ID.

6. How we use information

To provide and operate the App's features.
To store your preferences and unlock purchased or subscribed features.
To display and measure advertising in the free version.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the App work, namely Google (AdMob and Firebase) and the platform store (Apple or Google) for payments, plus the aviation data providers needed to fulfil your requests. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information where required by law.

8. Data retention

We keep the anonymous identifier and associated settings and entitlements for as long as they are needed to provide the App. You can request deletion at any time using the contact details below.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the laws of California and other U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. 11. Children

Cavokator is intended for pilots and aviation professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version is indicated by the "Last updated" date above and takes effect as soon as it is posted.
